Many contemporary tools cannot be made by one person’s hands, or understood by an individual mind. My objects appeal to those parts of our brains and our bodies that have been made to interact with, and understand tools.

ARTISTS STATEMENT
Between mind and matter the tool forms a conduit of intent. An object becomes a tool by channeling motive force, implementing human desire. As an extension of the human form, objects may physically embody a user’s ambition.
My instruments are situated between thought and the physical world, bridging fantasy to reality. They are ultimately not for moulding matter, but for shaping the mind. These tools demonstrate our agency to alter the mental and the material world.
